Is it really free?
Yes. The download is free on both stores, and every drawing tool and every color is available to everyone from the first launch. There are no coins, no unlockable brushes, and no color packs; the full toolset you see in a top Showcase drawing is the same one a brand-new player gets. If you want to support development, an optional supporter subscription adds superlikes, a way to give a drawing extra love. It never unlocks tools, because nothing is locked.
Playing with friends on the other platform
Games are cross-platform. An iPhone player and an Android player can play the same game: you draw on one, your friend watches the replay and guesses on the other. Add a friend with their friend code, or start a game with a random opponent and see who you meet.
What you need
On Apple devices, HankyDoodle runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 18.5 or later. On Android it supports phones and tablets running Android 10 or newer. It is a quick download on either store, and an account takes seconds: sign in with Google or Apple and pick a name. Drawings you make are saved to your Doodlebook automatically.
