ONE LINE
--------

Draw and guess with friends. Every sketch replays stroke by stroke.

SHORT DESCRIPTION (about 50 words)
----------------------------------

HankyDoodle is a turn-based drawing and guessing game for iPhone, iPad and
Android. You sketch a word and send it on; your opponent watches it being
drawn, stroke by stroke, exactly as you drew it, and races to guess before
the last line lands. Every brush and colour is free.

FULL DESCRIPTION
----------------

HankyDoodle is a drawing and guessing game played one turn at a time. You
get a word, you sketch it, and you send it to a friend. What they see is
not just the finished picture. They watch it being drawn, stroke by
stroke, exactly the way you drew it, and they try to name the word before
the last line lands. Guessing early scores more, so there is a real reason
to recognize a wobbly cat two seconds sooner.

Nothing is locked away. Every brush, every color and every tool is there
the first time you open the app and it stays there. There are no coins to
collect and no energy meter that runs out.

Have no friends? Try the Word of the Day. Every player in the world gets
the same prompt for twenty-four hours, and once you have taken your turn
you can see how everyone else read the same word. Some of them will have
drawn something you would never have thought of.

There is also a free draw mode for when you just want to make something
without a prompt, and a community gallery where any drawing can be
replayed the way it was made. You can play head to head with a friend, or
let the game match you with another player.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
-----------------------

The replay is the game. Most draw-and-guess games show the finished
picture, or a live canvas you have to be present for. HankyDoodle records
the drawing, so your opponent watches it appear at their own
convenience, hours later if they like, and the guess happens while the
picture is still forming. Every drawing in the app can be replayed this
way, including other people's.

Nothing creative is sold back to you. The genre is full of games that
charge for colours, bombs, hints or extra letters. HankyDoodle has an
optional subscription, but it does not gate a single drawing tool, colour,
brush size or prompt. What a paying player can draw and what a brand-new
player can draw are identical. The subscription removes the ads and adds
a few social extras; it does not touch the canvas.

It was built for a family, then opened up. The developer made it to play
with his wife and kids. The rating is 4+, drawings are reportable and
blockable, and reported content is triaged daily by a human.

ORIGIN
------

Kyle used to play Draw Something back in the day and wanted something he and
his family could play together. Every option had the basics locked behind a
currency. Colours cost coins or energy. That was the whole point for
HankyDoodle. Use the part that works, the drawing replaying for someone who
has to guess it, and delete the economy around it. The app was built with his
wife and kids as the first and most demanding testers.
